We are seeking a full-time litigation solicitor with minimum 5+ years PQE to undertake a varied mix of civil and commercial work, acting for companies and individuals. Experience with employment work would be preferred but is not essential. You will have solid experience of running your own caseload, be self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision. The successful candidate will be confident in their dealings with clients and able to network and develop business relations.
For the right candidate, this position may lead to Head of Department and have excellent partnership prospects.

As we have been in existence for almost 300 years, we have a large Private Client Department with work including Probate, Wills, LPA’s and OPG work. We are looking to continue to expand the team with various vacancies:
We currently have vacancies for both a Head of Department role with full partnership prospects, and a Senior Private Client Solicitor.
We are also looking for a Solicitor/Legal Executive with minimum 2 years PQE.
Flexible working hours are available, dependent upon the successful applicant's PQE and experience. The successful candidates will have experience in the full range of Private Client Work, be committed to working as Team, particularly to contribute to the growth of the Department as a whole.
In addition, we are looking for a Secretary to support the department.
We will consider a role of 3 – 5 days a week. It would be preferred for some Private Client experience, but it is not an essential requirement, provided the candidate has previous experience within other areas of Law.

The team’s work spans a wide range of topics, including drafting and reviewing Commercial Contracts, the preparation of Shareholders Agreements and Partnership Agreements, Asset and Share sales and purchases and providing general Company Law advice and assistance to a variety of company and individual clients.
